Brief Bio

Syracuse

I was born and grew up in Syracuse, New York. It was such a fantastic city that I decided to attend college at Syracuse University. I spent a fair amount of my time in Carnegie Hall studying mathematics. I graduated in 2009 Magna Cum Laude with a B.S. in mathematics.

Philadelphia

I attended graduate school at Temple University in Philadelphia where I studied applied mathematics. I graduated with a Ph.D. in 2015. My advisor was Professor Daniel B. Syzld and my thesis focused on speeding up the solution of large linear systems of saddle point type.

Manchester

I worked as a postdoctoral research associate for two years in the School of Computer Science at the University of Manchester in the U.K. I helped to build the Manchester Thermal Analyzer , a thermal simulator for 3-D integrated circuits in the group of Professor Vasilis Pavlidis.

Delft

I worked for Next Ocean , a start up company in Delft, the Netherlands. I was the lead software engineer and helped to build their wave prediction software. One of the highlights of working there was winning the Best Innovation Award at the 2017 Offshore Energy and Exhibition Conference.
