
Welcome to my homepage. My name is Scott Ladenheim. I am a Senior Research Computing Applications and Data Specialist in the Research Computing Services group at Boston University. My professional interests are in the fields of data science, machine learning, and quantum computing. I enjoy developing and implementing algorithms to solve complex problems. Some of the software tools I have expertise or interest in include C++, C#, Git, Python, Qiskit, R, SQL, and Tensorflow.
I have a Ph.D. in mathematics from Temple University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. I have worked as a postdoctoral research associate at the University of Manchester in the U.K, as a software engineer at Next Ocean, a startup company in Delft, the Netherlands. Prior to working at Boston University, I worked as a senior analyst programmer at Hybrid Intelligence (formerly Tessella), a division within Capgemini Engineering in Boston.
